Our Mission
Heroes Hobbyshop Corp is a 501(c)(3) non profit charity founded in 2025 by veterans that want to help other veterans do stuff.
We recognize the unique challenges veterans face upon returning to civilian life and we aim to foster a sense of community and purpose through hands on activities, projects and hobbies. We want to equip veterans with the tools they need to build, create, repair, and thrive - one project at a time.

The founding veterans of Heroes Hobbyshop are hands on people with a do it yourself attitude. We were fortunate to be able to purchase tools and now we have a bunch of them. These resources should not rust on the shelves, they need to be used. What better way than to provide these tools free of charge to local veterans and first responders.

Service members know that military installations worldwide typically have resources such as woodworking shops, auto hobby shops, and other workshops that support hobbies. We aim to make similar resources available in the Georgetown, SC local area. Our team is made up of volunteers who are ready to assist.
Our History
Veterans and first responders (and eligible family members) become members through a simple verification process (e.g., DD-214 or VA ID) and can borrow tools for short-term use with no rental fees. Our goal is to remove financial obstacles so veterans can focus on the therapeutic and fulfilling aspects of making, building, repairing, and creating. Contact us so we can help you get it done!
